Jim Lavery
Jim Lavery teaches U.S., World and Modern European History here at CCCHS. His education includes a Secondary Education Certification from Austin Peay (1992-1994), a Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction (1998), and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Carson-Newman College (1982). He has taught at CCCHS from 1997 to present, and is currently the Social Studies Chairman. Outside of the classroom, Jim Lavery enjoys collecting campaign buttons, coins, reading historical fiction, Sci-Fi movies and TV shows, Model trains (O-Scale), and staying healthy and in shape.
