Schools and sports are two of the most widely-read sections of the Ashland City Times. Unfortunately, our editorial staff of two can't make it to every event worthy of coverage, and too often the best stories fly under the radar.
We want to know what's going on in individual classrooms, share stories about your top students and follow all the teams. Your submissions will help.
To submit an item for publication, you may contact me via phone or e-mail. It's good to discuss the submission with the editor first, but it's not required. We prefer action photos instead of posed photos, and we need first and last names for anyone pictured. Write-ups don't have to be long---three to five detailed, descriptive sentences and a strong photo is often all we need.
